Steve Martin and John Hoffman’s suspenseful “Only Murders In The Building,” has bagged an astounding 21 Emmy Nominations.
The series, which follows the sleuth trio Oliver (played by Martin Short), Charles-Haden (played by Steve Martin), and Mabel (played by Selena Gomez), is a fictional murder mystery comedy set in a prosperous Upper West Side building. Its plot involves the trio investigating a series of murders taking place in their building after they bond over a love of true crime podcasts and agree that the facts of the homicide cases in their building are suspicious.
The first season premiered on Hulu in August 2021 and became successful enough that a further two seasons aired. The fourth season is also on its way as the series producers announced that the trio will continue their investigations on the 27th of August when series 4, episode 1 airs. The rest of the episodes for season 4 will then be released on a weekly basis.
The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the season will investigate who killed Sazz (Jane Lynch), if the murderer was actually aiming for Charles-Haden, and why anyone would want to murder one of the trio. It sounds like a good watch, especially if the nominations are anything to go by.
