Is Jojo Siwa’s music your guilty pleasure? Well, I’ve got some news for you.

Jojo has never been one to let the haters get to her. She’s the kind of person who sticks her middle finger up at the world and struts onto the stage like it's nobody’s business. It’s somewhat admirable, given the fact that her latest single ‘Karma,’ has been the subject of TikTok memes and media scrutiny. But do you think that’s going to stop her from achieving her popstar dreams? Hell no.

Just yesterday she announced that she was releasing her debut EP  ‘Guilty Pleasure’ on the 12th of July. The EP features the songs ‘Guilty Pleasure,’ ‘Balance Baby,’ ‘Yesterday’s Tomorrow’s Today,’ ‘Choose Your Fighter,’ and ‘Karma.’

 In typical Jojo fashion, the EP’s cover photo contains a profile shot of her sporting a fully black outfit complete with black lipstick and her famous high ponytail. It seems to be a reference to the new ‘bad girl era,’ that she claims to be in.

Although many comments were less than enthusiastic on her promo material for the album, it’s safe to say that Jojo hasn’t let that get to her. She still continues to tease the album on her Instagram story and subsequent posts.

Her latest Instagram post proclaims that the “COUNTDOWN IS ON,” and shows us some behind-the-scenes footage from the ‘Guilty Pleasure,’ music video. Jojo dances to her backing track wearing a bejeweled hi-vis jacket in a construction site and tells us to “get effin ready.”

So, what can we expect from the upcoming album? I’d say that there is going to be lots of rhinestones, provocative dancing and questionable decisions. Yet, none of that is necessarily bad. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens on the 12th.
